From the earliest moments I could lose myself in a story, books have been my companions and teachers. In 2001, life presented me with a pivotal moment. As I pondered my aspirations and dreams, my husband posed a question that changed everything: "What would you do if time and money were no obstacle?" Without hesitation, my answer was clear — I wanted to be a book seller.

I envisioned a different path, one free from the confines of a traditional brick and mortar store. Embracing the evolving world of online book selling, I took my modest savings and began crafting my vision. The Reading Well, Ltd was born from deliberate thought. The name encapsulates my belief in books as a wellspring of knowledge and enrichment. Just as literature spans genres and epochs, anyone who cherishes reading can be considered "Reading Well" — or perhaps even "Well Read."

Over the years, my passions have grown beyond books, expanding into the art of quilting. As I lovingly stitched quilts for family and friends, I found joy in repurposing leftover fabrics into my own creations. These quilts now grace our log house, adding a cozy charm to our surroundings. Yet, the challenge of surplus fabric scraps spurred a creative revelation.
